Description

Run your horse with your derpy fingers! Remember Track and Field, where you tap as fast as you can to run? It's sort of like that, but now you also steer based on tapping your left and right fingers to control your left and right hooves. Your horse goes all crazy, and if you're not careful and laughter ensues. Solo mode is an infinite horse race of trying to *escape* the finish line, and Party mode is for 4-Player horse races on a *single device*!

History

"Growing up around Louisville KY, I really enjoy Derby time, but the main race is over so fast! This game started as a way to spice up derby parties. Now everyone can have their own races while they wait for the real ones. Plus it's fun for all people to play, not just hard-core gamers" says Mommy's Best Games President and Lead Designer Nathan Fouts. In an unusual collaboration, the game has players race through a stylized version of Louisville, Kentucky and also features local businesses and organizations. Iconic Louisville landmarks make cameo appearances in the game. "Louisville Stoneware and CenterStage at the JCC have each been in the community for 100 years. We knew we had to represent them in the game" says Fouts. Other icons that appear in the game include the Kentucky Science Center, Muhammad Ali Center and the Louisville Orchestra. Each business has an in-game element, for instance, the Ali center has a boxing glove that attacks the finish line, and the Orchestra has a timpani drum the sound from which pushes the player's horse around.
