The RmpShkr (pronounced "rump shaker") is an absolutely silly, custom-made video game controller that shakes your butt while you play!
You know how some games have "rumble support" on the Xbox 360?
Well when the RmpShkrs are connected, any game that would rumble your hands, now rumbles your butt!
HOW IT'S USED
The RmpShkrs use standard Xbox 360 controllers so all the usual buttons and sticks are present. Any regular game can be played with it. But players
sit on special pads which do the shaking.
BEST EXPERIENCE
Any game with rumble works, but our current game,
Pig Eat Ball
works best! Pig Eat Ball has Solo and Party modes.
In the 4-player Party mode, players zip around as flying pigs with sensitive tails. Bumping them on the tail in the game stuns the character, but also sends the signal for a butt rumble.
Bumping your friend on the tail in the game, bumps your friend's "tail" in real life.
Destructoid said ""Oh man, you guys gotta play the butt rumble game. Let's go!" And we did. And our butts rumbled. And the night was exponentially better as a result."
Shack News said the RmpShkr "adds a humorous, peculiar feeling on the derriere when someone gets tagged."
WHERE TO PLAY IT
Right now we've made four RmpShkr controllers and we take them around to shows.
Here's the current schedule for 2014!
We're taking the game to public shows like video game events and comic cons. If you run one and want the RmpShkrs + Pig Eat Ball there, let me know!

They require four regular stacking chairs at the event in addition to the regular TV/laptop stuff. Minimum comfortable setup space is about 8 feet wide ('cause of the four chairs) and 6 feet deep (just a regular 4-multiplayer setup), but a little more room is good too.
MAKE A RMPSHKR
They're not too tough to make; they take a little money, time, patience, and some electronics know-how. I'll post the schematics soon!
"MOMMY'S BEST" RUMBLE TEST
Here is a very small Windows program that let's you test rumble on your Xbox controllers, and of course, your Rmp Shkrs!
Just download it, run it, and see if your controllers are rumbling or not.
