Just then, traffic blasts by and your papers fly through the air! You’ve got to get to work fast AND get those papers or you’re FIRED!
History
In 2023, Mommy's Best Games acquired the entire back catalog of game IP from Occidental Designs. Bumpy Grumpy, the relatively obscure arcade racer released by Occidental Designs in 1983, is the first title to be ported by Mommy’s Best Games. For those who have played the arcade game in its heyday, Bumpy Grumpy is known to have precise controls, intense speed, and forgiving collision detection. Mommy's Best Games is delivering a full featured port of the arcade game with new options to make the game more accessibile to a wider audience. Occidental Designs, founded in 1979, had a rocky history but continued to turn out arcade sleeper hits through the years. Being the only game company endorsed by both Milli Vanilli and Orson Welles, OD games developed an underground following. Their breakout hit Bumpy Grumpy, garnered fame with players, but also the fury from PADD (Parents Against Dangerous Driving). OD founders Baer Sternmidden and William S. Fushnell considered themselves game-making artists, in the sense that, many true artists go broke during their lifetimes and their genius is not properly recognized.
